ArborLynx is a Windows desktop application. The interface is being shaped around readable person workspaces, direct source citation, fast navigation, thin visual chrome, and the ability to keep research context on screen.

The first edition grows from French-Canadian and Acadian genealogy, where parish structure, migration, bilingual records, dit names, and densely connected families expose weaknesses in generic genealogy software. Solving those problems well creates a stronger tool for everyone.
